- Views of the templates for geodesic flows on hyperbolic surfaces. Associated understanding of closed orbits as knots in a three manifold. (make pictures, generalize?)
- Harmonic mappings as a way to get rigidity theorems
- m-ary partitions
- general partition theory, Ono's work, Ramanujan's crazy formulae
- continued fractions and negative curvature
- The Zeckendorf representation of a number, negafibonacci numbers, etc (burger et al recent work)
- curve shortening, ricci flow, etc
- flow a group action for rigidity?
